E-mail: nbehesht(at)stanfordalumni.org
I graduated in December 2009 and am now with Ericsson Research, San Jose.
I am a Ph.D. student in the Computer Systems Lab, Electrical Engineering at Stanford University.
I work in the High-Performance Networking Group with Prof. Nick McKeown.
I organize the Stanford Networking Seminar.
Research
My research interests are in several areas of Networking including router and switch architecture, packet switching algorithms, and wireless communications. My current research is on
Sizing
Buffers in Internet Routers.
Here is a short video on our buffer sizing results:
In the past I have been involved in the
Dynamic Circuit Switching project as part of the
Stanford's Clean-Slate program.
Teaching
Winter 2009: I will be the TA for the new class CS244 (Advanced Topics in Networking).
Spring 2008: TA for EE384Y (Packet Switch Architecture).
