3D Rendering of a remodel

In mid 2005 we decided to remodel our house. To help us decide between various choices, both architectural and aesthetic, I decided to use Blender to model these choices so we could immediately see the impact of our decisions.

In the table below I present a few different views of our main living area. On the left is the real photograph; on the right is the 3D view created within Blender.

Panoramic photographs

This is something of a novelty for me and is largely due to the quality of digital cameras (mine's an aging Olympus 3030) and photo-editing software.
